Much better weather today with sunshine and lighter
winds. A 64.7km task straight race to goal was called.
Conditions were light at first and pilots weren't in a hurry to
take off. Mark Watts and Chris Harland led the way off of
the hill and climbed out. The rest of the pilots started to
follow, with most getting up and away. Out on the course
conditions were fairly weak, and pilots had to change down a
gear.
The task was won by Steve Purdie with 54km followed by Chris
Harland and Bruce Goldmith.

The evening was spent, at the local lake enjoying a barbeque
sponsored by Ozone.
